OEC Installation for Ground Rod :
1. Augur a 4-5 inch (100-125mm) dia hole to the depth of 3mtr or as per length of earth electrode.
2. Place the earth rod in centre of the holde and drive into 200mm below ground.
3. Premix the 25kg of OEC compound in slurry for by using clean –potable water in 1:1 ration or
required qty to make proper slurry.
4. Pour appropriate amount of OEC compound around the Earth electrode.
5. Ensure that OEC slurry will completely fill the hole and tamp around the earth rod properly.
6. Wait for 1-2 hours to get harden the slurry. Then fill the remaining hole with soil removed during
auguring.
7. No of OEC compound requirement is based on the application/length of earth electrode.
8. For 3Mtr standard length 25Kg of OEC compound suffice the requirement.
